Breakfast at Lowyat

First of all my ratings for National Treasure 2. I'll give 7 stars out of 10! Seriously not bad! Far better then Part 1! :)

Ok, let me continue with my post :). Last Saturday, myself, Jen and Junn had our breakfast at Lowyat before start shopping ahha :P. All these pictures taken with my D50 + SB800. Still newbie, learning to use flash lol, so bear with me.

Btw, why is breakfast so important!?

A healthy breakfast refuels your body and replenishes your blood sugar (glucose), giving you the energy necessary to start a new day. In addition, a growing body of evidence indicates that breakfast is good for both your physical and mental health. Studies show that people who eat breakfast — especially a healthy breakfast — are more likely to:

  • Consume more vitamins and minerals and less fat and cholesterol during the day.
  • Have better concentration and be more productive throughout the morning.
  • Control their weight.
  • Have more strength and endurance.
  • Have lower cholesterol, which reduces the risk of heart disease.
So! Dont forget to have your breakfast everyday!

haha..Nasi Lemak contains high fats as they use coconut milk to cook the rice. Moreover rice is a simple carbohydrate meaning it will into glucose very fast and stored in your body as fats. I would suggest taking complex carbohydrates for breakfast. It will make you stay full longer and provide energy throughout the morning.examples are oats, muesli etc. Having eggs in your breakfast is a good choice though because of the high protein content and research shows that people who consume eggs as breakfast consume less calories in a day... haha hope i don't bore u...lol
