Lunch @ Dragon-I
Few weeks ago, Cherrie came down to KL with Brandon. Me and the usuals met her at Pavilion and then decided to go to Dragon-I for lunch. It's my first time there. Not bad nice foods. Me like that pau, that once you eat, can taste the soup in it lol. Forgot the name but I'm sure some of you guys know hehe. Okies! Here are some of the shots taken that day by Jason Goh. I took pics too, but forgot which folder I transferred it to, damn :P.

I've been to Dragon-i once but tak berapa suka that place. Maybe it's the food... Not that it's not nice, just not my taste.

Cantonese pronounce as Xiu-Loong-Bao
Mandarin pronounce as Xiao-Loong-Bao
Translate to Eng is not "Little Dragon Bao". The Loong is not Dragon in Chinese. The Loong means bucket, those bamboo bucket they uses to steam dim-sum.
So it's more like "Little Bucket Bao"
This is Dragon in simplified character - 龙
This is Dragon in traditional character - 龍
The Loong for the Bao is 籠
So it's 小籠包/小笼包,
not 小龍包/小龙包.
Got diff ok ;)
I dun like Dragon-I. Doesnt taste nice n no where near original Shanghainese foods.

Wow.. So detailed. All this while, I thought Loong is Dragon too. At least I can correct ppl when they said Small Dragon Bao.. Hehehehe....
